President Ghani to Visit India for One Day: Menapal

The Afghanistan President’s Deputy Spokesman Dawa Khan Menapal stated that President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will visit India at the end of next week to talk over the India military aids to Afghanistan.

Meanwhile military experts have declared the President visit to India very important after the Afghanistan Army chief of staff’s visited India.

Its said that Afghanistan Army chief of staff Qadam Shah Shahim has presented a list of military equipment for Afghan security forces to India officials.

President Deputy Spokesman Dawa Khan Menapal said,” President Ghani will visit India Prime Minister and then he will discuss the economy cooperation and ways of fighting against terrorism.”

Taliban have recently reacted against Afghan- Indian close cooperation and warned the Indian Government to stop giving military aids to Afghan Government, experts believe that receiving of Indian military aids will provoke Taliban the most to increase their terrorist activities in the country.

Senator Zalmay Zabuli said,” The India military aids somehow provoke Taliban to fight against Afghan Government, since USA is committed to provide more military aids and equipments for the Afghan security forces then it’s better that USA to do so.”

Political expert Noor Agha Sharifi said,” India aids is vital and effective for Afghanistan if the President considers the National interests, this can enable Afghan security forces to easily get destroyed.”

Afghanistan’s Ambassador to India said a delegation will soon visit Kabul for paving the way for the upcoming aids to Afghanistan, earlier India has assisted Afghanistan more than $2 billion dollars.
