In a gathering on Friday, a number of Kunduz tribal leaders, members of the parliament and civil society activists have demanded the Government to adopt a clear security policy to stabilize Kunduz.

The participants have accused the Governmental officials for not taking the responsibility and doing blame games over Kunduz issue.

Former investigative committee for Kunduz Fazel Karim Aimaq said,” When people are being killed or displaced even a single Governmental officials aren’t ready to take the responsibility.”

Meanwhile Senator Abdullah Qarluq said,” Advance and intelligence information are presented to the Governmental officials that Taliban are trying to launch attack, but no re actions is made by the Governmental officials.”

“ We have brought our suggestions to President and Chief executive to give order to clear Kunduz out of Taliban though there were 8000 Afghan security forces at the Kunduz airport but no order was given to Mohammad Amin Aimaq the tribal leader of Kunduz said,”

One of the residents of Kunduz Farzad Majidpor said,” if the Government paid attention Kunduz wasn’t fallen into Taliban hands.”

The Kunduz Governor Spokesman Sayed Mohmood Danish has rejected all the allegation saying gathering intelligence information and reaction against it isn’t the Governor responsibility.

He said,” the Governor responsibility is to run the civil work in the province, war should be led by the militaries and information and re action should be made by the security officials.”

Earlier Presidential palace, National Directorate Security and Resolute Support Mission have granted that falling Kunduz into Taliban hands was the fault of the security departments.

Kunduz has fallen into Taliban hands twice in two years, where dozens of the residents either were killed, or displaced in safe provinces.
