Senators raise concerns over insecurity
Afghanistan senate house expressed deep concern over security situation and the abduction of individuals all across the country.
Afghan senators claimed that the government especially the security institutions do not have the capacity to provide the security and failed to rescue the abducted individuals so far.
“The situation is worsening day by day. Attacks and blasts are a routine matter. It is a serious issue and its recurring would create more issues,” head of the house Fazl Haid Muslimyar said.
They even said that Afghan people do not have impunity in highways all across the country and fear to travel other provinces.
Mangal, Member of Parliament said, “Security forces have done nothing for the release of the hostages. Nearly, one a half month passed since the abduction of 31 passengers.”
“Seizing 10 mines by the armed oppositions and the insecurity of all provinces raise concerns of people with each day passing.” Senator, Lailuma Ahmadi said.
While these statements are discussed that the abducting people has recently hit a high level in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, a number of other senators criticized the performance of national unity government since its formation.
Afghan senator, Juma Khan Geyan wal said, “The government of national unity cannot bring peace to the country.”
This comes as the faith of 31 abducted passenger in Zabul is still uncertain.
