Afghan government will not trust Pakistani officials unless their commitments are not proved in practice, Afghan official says.

MoI minister, Noorulhaq Ulomi who was speaking in a news conference after Afghan security forces overcome Kabul siege, said: “We cannot put our weapons down with a single voice and change our policy and trust them again, we can only trust Pakistan when we see the benefits of the policy shift ended to the peace and stability in Afghanistan, region and the world.”

These statements comes in response to a senior Pakistani government official statements who has said that Pakistan has warned Afghan Taliban to immediately call of their ongoing spring offensive in Afghanistan or else face consequences.

Afghan senior security official claims that terrorists still have safe heavens in the Pakistani territory and they are still operating and receiving financial supports.

Ulomi added, Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) controls the war against the insurgents, Taliban insurgents are not capable to fall any area.

“Insurgents raised in any area have been defeated by the security forces and they have experienced tremendous causalities and pulled back again.”

In addition, he assured that a vast clearance operation is ongoing across the country against the insurgents.
