Supreme Court to Sweep Corrupted Figures out of Gov’t
The Supreme Court spokesman urged that 786 corruption cases were recorded in less than one year.
Supreme Court spokesman Abudullah Attayee said,” We have launched a serious fight against corruption within the Governmental departments, in the past 18 months 119 figures where 9 judges were among them due to involving in corruption cases either were dismissed from the duties or were put into the jail.”
Officials in Afghanistan Supreme Court insisted on bringing reformation in judicial system in the past 2 years 659 judges were exchanged from their posts.
Meanwhile Attorney General Office spokesman declared fighting corruption is our priority insisted the Afghanistan high ranking figures who are involved in big corruption cases are being reviewed by our office.
Attorney General Office spokesman Jamshid Rasouli said,” prosecutors who are accused of corruption either will be dismissed or send to the jail, serious efforts to combat corruption are underway.”
For further transparency we are launching judicial sessions publicly, and to speed up the administrative work 5 divisions were increased into 8 divisions.
