The U.S. has reported 18 military personnel killed and more than 750 wounded.
The continuing US-Israeli strikes on Iran, along with Israeli attacks on Lebanon, have reportedly killed thousands of people and displaced millions across the region.
On April 29, the Pentagon said the war at that point had cost $25 billion.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told lawmakers that the cost was justified given the U.S. goal of ensuring Iran will not have a nuclear weapon.
