Taliban shadow governor for eastern Kunar province killed in NDS operations

Taliban shadow governor of Kunar province was killed along with two senior commanders and 12 other Taliban fighters, Afghanistan Intelligence Agency announced.
Afghanistan National Directorate of Security (NDS) released a statement on Sunday saying,” Based on intelligence provided by NDS, as a result of an air strike, Omar Zadran, the shadow governor of Kunar” and two other senior Taliban commanders along with 12 fighters were killed in Dangam district of Kunar.
This is the second Taliban shadow governor killed during this week.
Earlier, Rahmatullah Nabil, Chief of NDS said that Taliban shadow governor for eastern Nangarhar province was assassinated by unknown gunmen in Spina Wari area in Peshawar city of Pakistan.
