Taliban shot dead Mohammad Anwar Rahmani, the head of municipal court, in Ghazni province of Afghanistan.
The incident took place when Mr. Rahmani was on his way from Kabul to Ghazni.
Taliban stopped his vehicle in Salar area of Wardak and shot him to dead, a police statement said.
But Taliban spokesman claims that he was killed in clashes between their militants and Afghan security forces after governmental forces tried to free the judge.
