11 passengers abducted in Sare Pul: Local officials

Police commander of Sare Pul province, Habib Gul Bahari announced the abduction of 11 passengers who were ordinary people and on way from Balkh Ab district to the center of province.
Gul Bahari noted that the 11 passengers were abducted on early Wednesday by the armed Taliban group.
He emphasized that security forces have launched military operations for rescuing the abductees.
This comes as the abduction of ordinary people in Afghanistan has increased.
Increasing armed robberies and abductions are causing widespread concern in Afghanistan.
