15 armed opposition killed in operations in Sare Pol

At least 15 armed oppositions were killed in operations launched in Sherm Ha and Borghot areas of Sare Pol by Security forces, local officials said.
Sare Pol security commander claimed that 10 villages cleared of armed oppositions of the government in Sare pol.
According to Naqibullah Sadat, Sare Pol security commander, two leaders of the armed opposition group named Zarghavi and Muhammad Dawood are severely wounded during the operation.
“Unfortunatly, one national army soldier and one popular uprising forces were also killed during the clashes and one local police were injured.” Sadat noted.
In the meantime, deputy assistant of Sare Pol, Abdul Ghafor said that Sare Pol security forces are trying to improve the security situation of the province.
“Sare Pol have been insecure in the recent months and armed opposition attacks have increased.” Ghafor said.
This comes as, the Balghali area of Sare pol province was captured by the armed Taliban group three days ago but Afghan security forces recaptured the area after a controlling operation.
