35 Taliban fighters, 3 ANSF members killed in Kajaki as clashes continues

35 Taliban fighters were killed and 45 others injured in Kajaki district of Helmand by Afghan security forces, district police chief reported.

Faizullah Akhundzada, Kajaki police chief has said to Ariana News that heavy conflict is ongoing between the government opposing groups and governmental forces since last night, and 35 Taliban insurgents and three Afghan security forces have been killed.

He added that senior Taliban commander, Mullah Afzal known as Mutasim is among the insurgents who were killed by ANSF.

The security source says fresh troops have been arrived, but the clash still continues.

Taliban has not made a comment yet about these claims.
