6 Killed, 9 Injured in Kabul Spain Embassy attack

Officials in Ministry of interior affairs have stated that 4 Afghans including 2 Internationals were killed, 9 others were injured after 3 suicide bombers stormed the Spain Embassy at Shirpor area of Kabul city later Friday evening.

They have also mentioned that 12 other internationals were rescued by the Afghan security forces from the scene.

First deputy of the executive chief Mohammad Khan has visited the scene saying in order to access peace and stability in the country , we need to have account with Pakistan.

Ministry of interior affairs spokesman Sediq Sediqee said,” 3 terrorists and 4 police forces were killed,7 civilians were injured in the explosion ,one guard and one staff of the Spain Embassy were also killed, and two other civilians were injured.”

Sediqee added that the fire fight continued for 11 hours in between the attackers and the Afghan security forces.

One of the residents in the area said the explosion was that much heavy and horrific I thought that the building has been destroyed, our house has been damaged badly.

After 11 hours of engaging the attackers were killed, and municipality staffs have come to the scene to clean the area.
