Abdullah launched long awaited Electoral Reforms Commission

Afghanistan’s Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah officially launched the long awaited work of Electoral Reforms Commission on Wednesday.
Abdullah in the presence of the head of the commissions and members said he is hopeful that the commission will continue to its work in a fair and transparent way.
President Ghani recently appointed 14 members of the Electoral Reforms Commission headed by Sultan Shah Akefi.
The commission is expected to bring the required changes in electoral systems in a period of three months to revive public trust in elections and electoral systems.
