Acting FM Muttaqi meets India’s external affairs’ joint secretary
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs’ joint secretary J.P. Singh met Thursday in Kabul with acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaqi.
The spokesperson for the foreign ministry Abdul Qahar Balkhi said in a post on X that J.P. Singh stated India is interested in expanding political and economic relations with Afghanistan and wants to grow trade through Chabahar port.
At the meeting, Muttaqi said that the Islamic Emirate seeks to strengthen political and economic relations with India and asked New Delhi to provide facilities for issuing business, medical, and education visas for Afghans.
