Afghan CEO leaves for three-day official visit to China
Afghan Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah Abdullah leading a delegation of high level officials left Kabul to Beijing for a three-day visit on the official invitation of the Prime Minister of China, Chief Executive Office announced on Sunday.
He will meet the Chinese President, Prime Minister and other governmental officials to discuss the enhancement of friendly relations between the two countries, the statement added.
According to the statement the Afghan delegation will sign a number of agreements and Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) for economic, technical, and trade cooperation with the Republic of China.
He is expected to deliver a speech to the Afghan university students and traders based in China during his visit in one of the Chinese universities.
Afghan leader is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Commerce and Industries, Minister of Higher Education, Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology, Minister of Urban Development, Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Senior Advisor and Special Envoy to the CEO, Minister’s Council Secretariat, Deputies of a number of ministries, and Members of Afghan Parliament.
