Afghan Electric Transformer Manufacture Company Inaugurated in Kabul

A $ 6 million electric transformer manufacture company owned by an Afghan was inaugurated in Kabul, to manufacture electric transformers with high quality with the cooperation of the Turkish engineers, the company would annually produce 900 electric transformers.

Owner of the company Abdul Satar Rahimi stated that efforts are underway to manufacture electric transformers with high quality and standard.

He said, “Today we are witnessing other step is taken towards the self-sufficiency of our country.”

In current condition investors are rarely dare to invest in Afghanistan, but officials in Ministry of commerce and industry admire and encourage the investors to invest in the country, but at the main time criticize the miss management economy.

Deputy Minister of commerce and industry Mohammad Qurban Haqjo said, “ Unfortunately we did not manage our economy well in the past years, now we would not witness huge number of investors to leave the country, hot and serious discussion is taken place, necessary supports and measurements is paved to draw more investors.”

Meanwhile second deputy of the Chief Executive Mohammad Mohaqiq insisted that the private company’s manufacture should be standard.

He said, “in order to help the newly inaugurated companies to sell the manufactures in the markets with high standards, the products should meet all the requirements of Ministry of commerce and industry and Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat.”

Based on the estimation of the Ministry of commerce and industry 80 percent of the electric tools with the cost of $ 200 million is being imported annually from abroad.
