President Deputy Spokesman Sayed Zafar Hashimi stated that Afghan Government cannot determine date for direct peace talks with Taliban, demanding the four states to pick the date.

Mr.Hashimi said,” due to some problems, we as the Government of Afghanistan cannot determine the date for direct peace talks to be held with Taliban in the future, can’t wait to share a full package of determined mechanism for peace to Afghan Nation.”

Afghanistan peace talks process has been converted into a complicated issue, four Nations Afghanistan, Pakistan, China and USA have come together to persuade Taliban to come to negotiation table after three times the efforts have failed and none of the Taliban members attended the peace talks process.

Taliban have not only attended the peace talks but also intensified the militant’s activities in different parts of Afghanistan.

After Taliban were defeated from Kunduz, they sheltered in Dand-i- Ghori and Dand-i- Shabuddin districts of Baghlan Province, which took month of Afghan security forces to clear Taliban from those areas.
