Afghanistan faces Pakistan in a friendly match
Afghanistan national football team exercises began on Tuesday in Lahor for a friendly match.
Afghan national footballers who left Afghanistan for Pakistan two days ago, now take preparations for a friendly match vs Pakistan.
Pakistan football federation will host the friendly match between Afghanistan-Pakistan on Friday February 6,2015.
Afghanistan will attend the competition with its second team that they are also in high spirits.
Afghanistan had played its first match against Pakistan in 1976 at the 26th Saratan football tournament, when President Mohammad Dawood Khan’s government was in power.
The Afghanistan National Football Team popularly known as the “The Lions of Afghanistan” is the national team of Afghanistan and is controlled by the Afghanistan football federation. Founded in 1922, they joined FIFA in 1948 and the AFC in 1954, as one of the founding members.
