Afghanistan needs to control its airspace: Dawran
Afghan Government doesn’t have the control of its airspace since the International forces are controlling in the past one decade.
Gen Mohammad Dawran has stated that no practical steps have been taken to have the control of Afghanistan airspace, only the Government can control the flights and landings of planes.
Deputy of the chief of staff Ministry of defense Mohammad Dawran said,” we can’t control our airspace, only landings and flights, I hope officials in Ministry of Defense try to have the control of Afghanistan airspace.”
Afghan security forces have always been suffering from lack of heavy weapons and jet fighters, they hope to have jet fighters and heavy weapons by coming spring.
Afghan air force commander Abdul wahab Wardak said,” US Government is committed to provide 4 A 29 jet fighters for Afghanistan air forces by coming spring, we have trained pilots to operate even on night shifts to defend enemies.”
Earlier officials in Afghanistan air forces had declared that by having jet fighters we will be capable to decrease the number of Afghan security forces causalities engaging enemies, and International community should support Afghan air forces.
