Afghanistan Never Becomes House of Taliban Council Leaderships: Menapal

Officials in Afghanistan presidential palace said Taliban have failed to relocate their council leaderships in Nangarhar, Helmand and Paktia provinces of Afghanistan from Pakistan, but their permanent headquarter is still outside the country.

Meanwhile officials in Ministry of Defense confirmed that several Taliban council leadership committees were located in Helmand province, due to variety of issues they left Afghanistan.

Local Governor of Helmand Hayatullah Hayat said, “Taliban were trying to transfer their leaderships to Helmand province, but Afghan security forces prevented Taliban to be stationed in Helmand.”

Taliban were aiming to station in Nangarhar, Helmand, and Paktia provinces of Afghanistan.

President Deputy Spokesman DawaKhan Menapal said, “The policy, supporters and centers staying are clear for all, Afghanistan will never become house of Taliban and not let their leaderships to be placed.”

Taliban are still trying to meet their object in Afghanistan by receiving supports from Pakistan to locate their leaderships in Helmand province.

Minister of Defense Deputy Spokesman Mohammad Radmanish said, “ We have advance and sophisticated planes to pound the enemies, we are fully focusing on the issue and we will not allow anyone to do so.”

Meanwhile former Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs Mirza Mohammad Yarmand said, “Pakistan is clearly launching efforts to transfer the Taliban council leaderships into Afghanistan to destabilize Afghanistan and convert the country as the center of terrorism.”

Concerns and fears are in rise if the Taliban council leadership is transferred from Pakistan into Afghanistan and if Afghanistan is converted as the terrorism center.
