Afghanistan’s support from Saudi led Coalition in Yemen will have negative consequences for the country, a number of Afghan political analysts said.

Afghan political analysts said that such positions will cause Afghanistan face problems in relations with the region’s countries and the world.

Presidential Citadel with releasing a statement on Wednesday night has said that defending from Saudi Arabia is the right of every Muslims.

After the fall of Yemen government, this is the first time that Afghanistan announced support from Saudi led coalition intervention in Yemen.

The statement released by presidential citadel said that after consensus with the religious scholars Council, Clergymen, political leaders and the National Security Directorate, Afghanistan announced its support from Saudi.

The statement said that Afghanistan government and its people had a deep historical and religious ties with Saudi Arabia. Afghanistan believes to the principle of democracy and the legitimacy of the legal system in Yemen and supports the rule of law.

But Afghan analysts believe that such decisions by Afghan government as an Islamic country is far from expectations.

Sayeed Jamal Fakuri Beheshti, member of Parliament said, “Unfortunately, the lack of a clear foreign policy in the past 13 years, now make Afghanistan to have problems in its foreign policies.”

“Afghanistan has a fragile situation, such positions make Afghanistan to have problems with the countries in the region and the world.” Toryalay Gheiase, political analyst said.

The statement released by the presidential citadel also said that Yemen case should be resolved by United Nations efforts.
