Afghans worry about delays in cabinet formation to unknown time
Afghans worry about postponing the new cabinet by the National Unity Government believing that it has resulted Afghans to face with different challenges countrywide.
They vow the President and the Chief Executive Officer to introduce the nominees to Afghan Parliament to receive the vote of confidence.
Governmental officials have promised to introduce the cabinet often, but yet they have failed to fulfill this commitment.
Mohammad Qasim, a resident of Balkh province said,” They should introduce the members as soon as possible because people are very worried about the economic and security situation of the country”.
“They should not forget that we have voted to see positive changes in our life,” Hamidullah, a resident of Kundoz said.
In addition a number of Afghans emphasize that delays in cabinet introduction indicate the government weak commitment regarding the promises they have made to harness the current challenges.
These statements come after the Afghan Parliament and citizens asked the government to tackle this challenge several times.
Recently the government officials announced that both leaders have agreed to introduce at least nine candidates for economical and security sectors not later than Wednesday, now it seems like they did not come to a conclusion yet.
