AGO-Asia Foundation Launched Capacity Building Program for Women

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Attorney General- Asia Foundation to build the capacity of females working in attorney General’s office of Afghanistan on Tuesday.

The Deputy Attorney General stated that 242 females from 34 provinces of Afghanistan will be introduced to the 6 months training.

The Deputy of the Attorney General office Wahidullah Arghon said, “We have signed a memorandum of understanding with Asia Foundation on providing legal training for the 252 female staffs incoming 6 months in Kabul.”

Meanwhile chairman of the Asia Foundation in Kabul said efforts will be launched to provide more legal training programs for the female working in Attorney General Office.

“Efforts are underway to provide basic legal programs in the six months of internship for the female staffs of the Attorney General of Afghanistan.” Chairman of Asia Foundation Abdullah Ahmadzai said.

The programs which are financially funded by the USAID will create more jobs opportunities for the Afghan female to work within the Attorney General’s Office of Afghanistan.
