AIHRC bus bombed in Jalalabad City, 2 killed

An explosion targeted Afghanistan’s Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC) vehicle in eastern Nengarhar province, killing two and injuring four others.

Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, provincial governor spokesperson on Monday said a roadside bomb targeting a vehicle of the Independent Human Rights Commission was detonated by a remote control near the AIHRC regional office.

He added, two Human Right personnel were killed and four others were injured as a result of the blast.
