ANA HQ attacked, 2 soldiers injured

A suicide attacker blew up himself close to Afghan National Army (ANA) HQ at Sayed Abad district of Maidan Wardak Province on Tuesday early morning.

Security Officials confirmed the incident saying, ANA Headquarter was attacked by a suicide bomber which injured at least two ANA soldiers.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity with Ariana News a security official said that a Mazda vehicle loaded with explosive devices was exploded around 8:30 am and hugely destroyed the ANA HQ.

Zabihullah Mujahid Spokesman of the Taliban insurgency group have accepted the responsibility of the attack on a message in his twitter.

Maidan Wardak is among the volatile provinces of Afghanistan where anti-government armed militant groups are actively operating in a number of its districts.
