ANSF recapture Chardara district from Taliban

Afghan security forces retook control of Chardara, a district in northern Kunduz.
ANA Ground Forces Commander, General Murad Ali Murad confirmed that Afghan forces recaptured Chardara, a district overrun by Taliban three days ago, on early Tuesday morning.
According to Gen. Murad 85 anti-government gunmen killed, 13 others injured and many others arrested after a joint ground combat and air operation launched by Afghan National Security Forces.
He added, Taliban siege surrounded 70 soldiers broken after Afghan forces launched a major operation on Monday night.
This victory comes as Afghan security forces took the control of Yemgan district in Badakhshan on Monday while at the same time lost the control of Dasht-e Archi in Kunduz.
