China, US, Pakistan committed to help Afghanistan restart Peace Talks: Ghani

President Ashraf Ghani has said that China, the United States and Pakistan committed to cooperate with Afghan government to restart Peace Talks with Taliban but the process will be carried out under the light of Afghan constitutions.

Ghani emphasizes that Afghan government should pass many ways to reach Peace.

“The United States, Pakistan and China committed to cooperate with Afghanistan for restarting Peace Talks in Afghan constitution framework,” Said President Ashraf Ghani.

Meanwhile, President stresses on Afghanistan-Pakistan joint combat against terrorism, but Afghan citizens urged President Ghani to not trust on Pakistan.

“Afghanistan and Pakistan agreed to jointly and seriously fight against terrorism,” noted President Ghani.

Ashraf Ghani noted that he told the Heart of Asia conference about the discontent of the Afghan people and Afghan government over Haqqani Network activities that global measures to be taken against this terrorist group.

“Our biggest achievment in Heart of Asia Summit was that Pakistan is working with us in terms of combat against Haqqani terrorist group,” added President Ghani.

The fifth iteration of the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process ministerial conference wrapped up in Islamabad, Pakistan on Wednesday.

The meeting, which seeks to bring regional countries together to support peace and stability in Afghanistan, was attended by foreign ministers or other high-level representatives from the 14 Heart of Asia member countries (including Afghanistan, China, India, Iran, Pakistan, and Russia) as well as representatives from supporting countries and organizations like the EU, Japan, and the United States.
