Parwan residents staged a protest after NATO attacked weapons cache
Hundreds of Parwan residents staged a protest on Monday morning after NATO forces targeted a weapons cache belong to a former Jihadi commander in Bayan area of northern Parwan province.
Preliminary reports suggested clashes between Afghan security forces and the former Jihadi commander as the protesters closed Kabul – north highway.
Eyewitness has said that the clashes took place after Afghan security forces targeted a weapons cache belong to commander Jaan Ahmad in Bayan area in the center of Parwan province.
Reports suggest that commander Jaan Ahmad fighters have closed the shops in the city and patrolling with light and heavy guns in center of the city.
Gen. Mohammad Zaman Mamozay, provincial police chief rejects any bombardment by Coalition Forces saying they will investigate the issue.
