A delegation of Turkish religious scholars have met with the Acting Minister of Education Habibullah Agha in Kabul, it was announced on Thursday.
According to the Ministry of Education’s statement, the Turkish delegation talked about good relations, historical commonalities, Muslim-friendly relations, and the importance of mutual cooperation.
The parties also had detailed discussions on the importance of strengthening the educational system of Afghanistan, providing quality educational services and administrative issues.
The delegation expressed satisfaction with the balanced development of education, enhancement of reforms and quality of education, and assured of Turkey’s firm support for Afghanistan’s education sector, according to the statement.
The delegation also shared the factors that contributed to the development of Turkey’s educational system.
Acting Minister of Education appreciated Turkey’s cooperation in Afghanistan’s education sector saying that education plays a key role in the country’s development.
