8 Afghan Guards were killed after US SOB attacked in Kabul

An explosion near a foreign base in Kabul followed by gunfire left 8 people dead and at least four others wounded, but a statement from ministry of interior only confirms injury of 10 Afghans.

The incident took place on Friday night at 10:00 pm in 15th police district in Qasaba area in the capital of Kabul city.

A suicide bomber detonates a vehicle laden with explosive devices near the U.S. special operations base, also known as Camp Integrity after two bloody attacks which killed nearly 25 people and injured nearly four hundred others, mainly all civilians.

“Clashes continued for hours, gun fires and rocket attacks were heard,” Nasir Ahmad Kohbandi a resident in the area has told to Ariana News correspondent.

Reportedly a NATO fighter jet was flying over the area after an armed assault between foreigners and attackers.

Police officials have not provided details on causalities, but eyewitness said eight people were killed and four others were injured as a result of the incident who were all Afghans used to work as security guards in the foreign base.

“I went to ask about my uncle, a causality list was posted on the wall showing that 8 Afghans were killed and four others were injured,” an eyewitness said.

At the same time reports confirms dead of a coalition service member who was working on the NATO military base attacked by gunmen.

During the last 24 hours three consecutive attacks have rocked Kabul city killing and injuring hundreds of civilians.
