Evaluating projects priority of ministry of public work
Afghanistan ministry of public work says that evaluating projects and construction of roads are the priority of the ministry.
Mapping out the first 100 day plan, the minister of public work has said that he has begun talks with the Asian Development bank about the construction of the highways.
“Eighty percent of our development budget is dependent on foreign aids. To receive timely assistance, a solution is needed to attract the help and reforms,” Mahmud Baligh, minister of public work said.
One of the main highways of the country which every year becomes problematic is the Salang Highway that the public work minister promised of solving its problems.
He further added that he suggested a strong form to the president to run these programs.
This comes as the ministry of public work says Afghanistan has $ 128 million budget in the current year which will be spent in a transparent manner.
