Ex-Afghan top spy calls NUG strategy against Islamabad unbalanced, a premature scoring
Amrullah Saleh, Ex-Afghan top spy criticized the NUG strategy against Pakistan and called it unbalanced and a kind of premature scoring to Islamabad.
He said,” there are two different timelines and frameworks, Ghani has identified his first suspense 15 of February 2015 and if it comes ineffective he will re-examine his strategy against Pakistan, as far as I know Pakistan is not ready to help the government of Afghanistan at least for another 3 years”.
President Ghani met Pakistani military officials unexpectedly on his first visit to Pakistan.
Furthermore, recently Afghan government deployed a number of ANA cadets to Pakistan for military trainings which has never happened during the last 13 years though it was recommended many times.
Saleh believes that sending Afghan cadets to Pakistan is a big mistake,” Afghanistan was supposed to convince Pakistan for security cooperation without giving them the opportunity to train Afghan cadets,” he added,” we really don’t need Pakistan trainings for our security forces and deploying Afghan cades is a premature scoring to Pakistan”.
Former head of Afghanistan’s Intelligence Agency, NDI said that the government will not succeed with the current regional policy because currently India is awaiting while the government has opened a new unilateral relation with Pakistan.
