First joint NAP session held for improving of Afghan women in MoF

First joint session on National action plan has been held in Ministry of foreign affairs, where Afghanistan is obliged to cooperate, help and improve the life of Afghan women in four sections based on the commitment of the United Nation Organization 1325 in Kabul city.

In the following session officials from Afghanistan Ministries, United Nation representatives and some other have participated.

One of the participants of the session, human rights commission in Afghanistan stated that justice shouldn’t be underestimated while peace process issues are discussed in between Afghan Government and armed insurgents.

She has also urged that those sides of war who have committed crimes should be executed accordingly, the following speeches made where the first session on implementation of united Nation security council statement is debated for women situation, peace and security in Kabul city.

Based on the United Nation security council statement, Afghanistan should take action for improving of Afghan women’s life in four sections, where Afghanistan is obliged to help women, provide them good plat form for their presence in taking decision in peace process, protect women and girls in war ravaged areas, raise capabilities of women in improving their life styles.

The draft for National action plan is disseminated to all Governmental institutions and departments they are to obliged to report back from the implementation status for the Ministry of foreign affairs on annual basis, the cooperation will be for 8 years the deputy of foreign affairs Hikmat Khalil Karzai said.

Minister of women affairs Dilbar Nazari said,” peace will set free Afghan women from war pressures, protect them from gender violence, economy safety insurance, and enable Afghan women to take part in peace process.”

In the session one of the Human rights commissioners in Afghanistan has expressed her concerns over those war criminals committed crimes saying they should be executed.

Suraiya Subrang the Afghanistan human rights commission commissioner said,” justice shouldn’t be ignored by peace process, the war victims should receive serious attentions.”

Its said the following National action plan based on United Nation Organization statement 1325 to be implemented for improving of Afghan women life by the Governmental and none Governmental departments incoming 8 years,and the financial supports for the program will be paid by European Union and some other International countries supporting the program.
