IEC Begins Auditing of 6000 Ballot Boxes
Independent Election Commission IEC officials have said both parties have agreed to launch a special auditing process over the 6000 boxes.
It seems that both presidential candidates’ campaigners have been satisfied with beginning of such auditing process.
IEC spokesman Noor Mohammad Noor added that so far %41 of ballot boxes has been audited.
Based on the new UN plan both presidential campaigners have made about 3000 boxes for further auditing process, after that International and National supervisors will review and check every single voting sheet and 24 teams will monitor the whole process.
Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai campaigner Alim Fedayee said, “What makes special the special audited boxes from normal audited is the boxes were directly picked and will be re-audited which satisfies Abdullah Abdullah campaigners.
IEC spokesman Noor Mohammad Noor also said the special and normal auditing process is being monitored under the supervisions of the International and National supervisors.
