International Disabled Day Observes in Afghanistan: MoWSADM
Officials in Ministry of Works, social affairs, Disabled and martyred on Wednesday have said there are 8,000,00 Disabled human beings live in Afghanistan which only 120,000 get benefited from the Governmental programs, salaries, and privileges in the whole country.
However the Human rights commission in Afghanistan in International Day of Disabled insisted that there should accurate estimation of the following human beings, this will enable the Government to expand its services across the country.
Officials in Ministry of Works, social affairs, Disabled and martyred claimed there are different disabled human beings live in Afghanistan part of those persons have lost their life during bloody war, some due to their parents neglecting, and the third part have been born disabled.
One of the Young disabled who live within the society and student of a high school Ahmad Rashid urged that we truly suffer from two sided visions full of discrimination of the people and Government towards disabled persons.
At the current condition more than 100,000 disabled persons are working for different Governmental Departments benefiting the 5000 salary and some other privileges provided said Acting Minister Wasil Noor Muhmand.
He also asked the related Ministries to conduct their programs and basic services for disabled persons.
Head of the Human rights commission Sima Samar has urged that Government should provide facilities, necessary assists for the needy persons in the society.
Estimation indicates daily three persons lose parts of their body during explosion mines, road side bombs and etc in the country
