Kabul provincial council candidates inaugurates after 8 months

Kabul provincial council leading candidates has finally been sworn after a long disputed election on Monday.

 

Kabul acting governor, Abdul Jabar Taqwa speaking on the ceremony being held on this occasion deemed a number of issues taken into consideration which caused to delay the oaths of allegiance for the succeeded candidates.

 

33 elected members of provincial council starting their new jobs while a number of protesting candidates accusing the Independent Election Commission (IEC) for frauds on their votes.

 

Afghan 2014 presidential and provincial council elections delayed due to widespread fraud accusations being made by the rivals on IEC and each other which finally resulted in formation of the National Unity Government.
