Kabul Residents Prepare for Nowruz (1394)

Few days to go on Nowruz festival of 1394, Kabul residents are getting preparation for having a great festival.

In that day all Afghans trying to enjoy the day and celebrate it with much happiness and joys

This day is observed globally and about 300 million people worldwide celebrate Nowruz, with traditions and rituals particularly strong in the Balkans, the Black Sea and Caspian Sea regions, the Caucasus, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East. Events may include folk dance performances, special concerts, and tree planting ceremonies.

The following day has been officially recognized by the United Nation Organization and Afghan Government announced that first and second of the New Year is public Holidays.

Nowruz is an ancestral festivity marking the first day of spring and the renewal of nature. It was proclaimed as an official UN observance because it promotes peace and solidarity, particularly in families. The day also focuses reconciliation and neighborliness, contributing to cultural diversity and friendship among peoples and different communities.

Coming of the New Year day as Nowruz has made the families to come out of their houses and get some preparation for that festival.

Kabul Resident Mohammad Mahfoz Ayuobi said,” we are here to purchase clothes for our new groom and bride we all are trying to be Happy at the beginning of the day of the New year by giving gifts to each other.”

Kunduz resident said,” we prepare kind of traditional food called Samanak we wear new clothes groom’s family should take that food and new clothes to bride’s house to congratulate her for the New Year before the Nowruz seven kind of dry fruits are mixed and served.”

The other Kabul resident Miss Sonita also said,” we have shaken the dusts, painted the house, and now we are here to buy new clothes for our festival.”

This day is counted as the Bazar day for the shopkeepers to sell their clothes for the purchasers.

Nowruz festival is a public holiday in some countries including Afghanistan Iran.

First day of the spring is the festival day called Nowruz where Afghans get some preparation to have good time during this day
