Magnitude 5.8 earthquake jolts Kabul

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake was felt across numerous provinces in Afghanistan, and parts of neighboring Pakistan and India on Saturday evening. 

Tremors were in fact felt from Kabul to New Delhi in India. No reports of casualties or damage has as yet been received.

The earthquake was epicentered 47 km from Jurm in Badakhshan in Afghanistan’s Hindu Kush mountains. According to the USGS, the earthquake was at a depth of over 200km and struck at 8.30pm.
