Man Kills His Wife in Northern Afghanistan

According to Sebghatullah Selab a member of Faryab Provincial Council, the victim who was killed on Tuesday by her husband was a resident of Maimana City.
Abdul Karim Yourish, the provincial police spokesman told Ariana News that the husband and father-in-law of the victim have been arrested by police.
Yourish said that the motive of the killing was still unknown.
It was the second similar incident in Faryab province in the last one week.
Police say that at least 27 women were either killed or committed suicide last year in the province.
