Measurements Launched to Stop Coal Smuggling in Bamyan : Zaheer

Governor of Bamyan Taher Zaheer said necessary measurements was launched to stop illegal excavation and smuggling of the coal mines located in Kohmard, Saighan and Yakawlang areas, meaning that Afghan security forces have established check pots to ensures security.

During his interview with Ariana News the Governor accused Governmental departments for not implementing their development projects in Bamyan without Departments of Agriculture and livestock and rural rehabilitation and development.

Further he went and said,” sine I m appointed as the Government have been able to stop illegal excavation of coal mines and I have appointed Afghan security forces at the vicinity of the mines to ensure security and not let individuals to launch illegal excavation of mines.”

He has criticized some of the Governmental departments who didn’t implement the development projects in Bamyan therefore the residents of Bamyan still suffer from unemployment.

Mr. Zaheer said,” Without department of Agriculture and livestock and rural rehabilitation development none of the other Ministries have implemented their development projects in Bamyan to provide facility and boost the economy of the residents specially the Ministry of public interests.”

Bamyan is one of the centeral provinces of Afghanistan where dozens of coal mines are in it and the biggest coal mines are located in Kohmard, Saighan and Yakawlang area.
