Ministry of Higher Education announces inclusion of information technology in Afghanistan universities
The ministry of higher education has announced about the inclusion of information curricula technology field in Afghanistan universities.
Officials in ministry of higher education are said to consider inaugurating of information technology beneficial in improving quality of education.
The ministry of higher education officials at the tenth summit of development of information technology have said that of the 35 public universities, 22 of it have been connected with the field of Information Technology.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, Muhammad Osman Baburi is said to consider the growth of information technology an achievement for the country.
Information Technology (IT) has been growing rapidly in Afghan higher education institutions.
The new technology allows the universities to connect to the international scientific community and take part in the global knowledge society.
The Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) has been actively promoting the implementation of IT centers and Computer Science study programs throughout the country.
