Afghanistan ministry of defense asked Pakistan army to coordinate details of their military operations in northern Waziristan to avoid the insurgents escape into Afghanistan territory.

Pakistan must share with us the details and intelligence information of their new operations in North Waziristan, they must target the core of the Taliban during these operations,” General Dowlat Waziri, Afghan ministry of defense deputy spokesman demanded.

Apparently, Pakistan has launched military operations against the insurgents in North Waziristan, a mountainous region of Pakistan bordering with Afghanistan to force them to flee to Afghanistan.

Now, Islamabad is performing different operations than the past, operations backing by the U.S. drones.

Afghan military experts believe that Pakistan is only seeking to eliminate Pakistani Taliban (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan or TTP) or force them to flee to Afghanistan.

Military affairs expert, Jawid Kohistani said,” Pakistan is trying to wipe out those groups who oppose Islamabad and send them to Afghanistan which is very critical for our country”.

Afghan officials have long been emphasizing that Pakistan loyal cooperation against the insurgents groups can secure peace and stability in Afghanistan, because it is believed that Islamabad is able to pressure the insurgents to end fighting and hold peace talks with Afghan government.
