MoF Summons UAE Charge D’affaires in Kabul

Officials in Ministry of Foreign Affairs have summoned the Charge D’affaires United Arabic Emirates in Kabul over expelling of 600 Afghan investors from their territory.

They have stated that efforts are underway to make United Arabic Emirates to change its mind on Afghan investors.

Foreign Ministry deputy spokesperson Serajulhaq seraj said,” we have summoned the Charge D’affaires United Arabic Emirates in Kabul to change their mind over expelling of Afghan investors from their country.”

Meanwhile spokesperson of Ministry of Commerce and Industry Musafir Qoqandi said,” we are on the page,efforts are underway to have the United Arabic Emirates not to implement their decision over 600 Afghan investors.”

The following issues has made Afghan officials in Chamber of commerce Baz Mohammad to express their concerns over the issue, Afghan businessmen have invested millions of $ in United Arabic Emirates, thousands of Afghans will be jobless we demand the Government to find better solutions for it.

United Arabic Emirates has expelled Afghan investors from their country for the first time.

The main challenge for Afghan investors who are not willing to invest within the country is insecurity condition.
