Mortar shell explosion kills 3 children in southern Kandahar

Three children were killed and four others injured after a mortar shell explosion in southern Kandahar province.
Fazel Mohammad Eshaqzay, Panjwai district governor has told Ariana News that the blast took place on Wendesday morning in Zangy Abad area of Panjwai district after children found a shell and started playing with that mortar shell.
He added, three children of a single family were killed and four others injured who are currently under medical care in Mirwais hospital in Kandahar.
As a result of the last four decades of war in Afghanistan none of the children growing up today in Afghanistan has ever known peace and most of the attacks in Afghanistan conflict claim the lives of civilians including women and children.
