MPs Demand Holding Transparent-Fair Elections

Members at the lower house of the Parliament have insisted over holding of the transparent and fair Elections, demanding the Government to take the issue seriously and adopt necessary measurements.

MPs insisted on holding of Election demanding the Government to pave the way for a smooth Election at all cost.

Lawmaker Asadullah Saadati said, “After the President endorsed the Election law, then all the decisions will be legitimated, further discussion will be unwarranted, we need to support the ongoing Election process.”

“We demand holding of the Election and we will  support it, provided that the Election should as transparent and fair, otherwise Election will be full of problems.” MP KamalNasir Osoli said.

Further the first deputy of the lower house of the Parliament Zaher Qadeer said, “ We demanded holding of the parliamentary Election for the first time,  warning if the former Election commissioners are accused of committing frauds they should be introduced to court or their faith should not be forgotten.”

Law makers have declared that holding of the parliamentary Election in Afghanistan in the current condition would be hard, if no necessary measurements are taken, insecurity has badly impacted over different things specially the Election issue.
