NDS arrested key military member of Quetta Shura in Zabul

An active member of Quetta Shura was arrested in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) in a statement says Mawlawi Faizullah who is an active member of the Quetta Shura military commission and a resident of Dai Chopan district of Zabul province has been arrested during a special operation.
According to the NDS statement he was in charge of terrorist activities such as suicide attacks, ambushes, offensive attacks, kidnapping and financial collections for Taliban militants in Zabul, Kandahar and Ghazni provinces.
The Quetta Shura is a militant organization composed of top Taliban leaders who took refuge in Quetta, Pakistan after 2001.
