NDS discovers 2,000 KG of bomb-making chemical in Kabul

National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency has discovered about 2,000 KG of ammonium nitrate – an important bomb-making substance used in Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) by terrorist groups – during a special operation in Kabul city.
The explosive material were placed inside the twenty bags of each weighed 50 KG in Bot Khak area of Kabul city, a statement released by NDS read.
According to the statement the IEDs were brought to Kabul from the other side of the Durand line by Mawlawi Aziz – a terrorist belong to the Haqqani network – in order to make IEDs from them and perform suicide attacks inside the Kabul city.
