NDS discovers terrorist hub, arrests 3 terrorists in Zabul
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency has discovered a terrorist hub and has arrested three terrorists in southern Zabul province of Afghanistan.
“During a joint operation with the National Police and the National Army, the NDS members have discovered a terrorist training center in Qalat – Kandahar highway and have arrested three terrorists,” NDS statement released on Saturday read.
According to the statement the terrorist hub was used for trainings and terroristic plots such as planting roadside bombs, attacks on passengers, and destruction of bridges in the highway.
ANSF has seized a large amount of explosive devices, remote controller bombs, anti-personnel mines and a number of manuals for making IED’s.
