NDS Prevents Terror Attack on Indian Consulate in Nangarhar
Afghanistan’s National Directorate of Security (NDS), has prevented the occurrence of a suicide attack on Indian Consulate in Jalalabad City, the provincial capital of eastern Nangarhar province.
A statement released by NDS on Wednesday states that they have detained two suicide attackers. The attackers were identified as Nasrullah and Obaidullah in Nangarhar.
The statement adds that NDS seized five kilograms of water Jill, 15 kilograms of potassium chloride explosives, nine bombs, one mine, six electric capsules, two remote controls, a GPS device, a transmitting antenna, a pair of ANA suits, military equipment and other possessions from the detainees.
During the investigation, the detainees have admitted that they kidnapped two national traders named Haji Gul Muhammad and Irfanullah and asked for $ 5 million in exchange of releasing them.
