MoAlS to implement $54 million projects

Officials in Ministry of Agriculture and live stock have reported that 54 $ million development projects on Agriculture sector will be implemented in three different provinces of Afghanistan in coming five years.

Minister of Agriculture and live stock Asadullah Zamer said,” the following development projects on Agriculture sector with cost of 54 $ will be implemented in Nangarhar, Balkh and Herat Provinces in coming five years.”

Saying implementation of the following projects will boost the economy of the inhabitants within the areas, as well as it will develop Agriculture situation Mr. Zamer added.

Meanwhile officials in Ministry of rural rehabilitation urged that there are a number of programs underway to resolve the suburb resident’s problems.

Deputy Minister of Rural Rehabilitation Mohammad Sharif said,” there was poor coordination in between the Ministries, from now onwards all the programs will be implemented under the supervision of both Ministries.”

Based on the estimation the majority of Afghans earn their life through Agriculture and farming, it’s said that no significant measures has been adopted to implemented a standard Agriculture and live stock programs within the country in the past several years.
